Let there be peace

We know so well, that wars are bad.,

Demise and losses.. and everything sad.

Floods and wreck too are no good.,

Drenched homes, no light, living without food.

Tonight as the new year lights glow in the sky,

And join us as (to 2015) we say Goodbye,

I pray that, in the world, more peace should prevail..

And through such woes, every man should sail.

I pray for more care in people's hearts.,

A little more love we all impart..

Dear God, let the darkness be over now..

Make these lives little better somehow..

And tomorrow morning, with the rising sun..
